SITE AND MEMBER GUIDELINES
It is our intention as Site Administrators to uphold the vision of Spirit Lodge which is to share a pathway to Spirit/Creator with focus on Native American spirituality and shamanic practices.
Administrators maintain developmental forums and resources to promote growth and sharing within the community. Serving the needs of many, both within the community and our visitors, means that we will provide a haven for those who seek enlightenment and the safe sharing of personal experiences. Membership is therefore regulated at the discretion of the Administrators who reserve the right to ban anyone who attempts to undermine efforts to maintain the site's purpose or disrupt the community.

We are not practicing professional therapists, psychiatrists, doctors, lawyers or religious leaders. Nor are we a substitute for professional help. If you suspect you may have a serious problem we encourage you to seek professional help.
MEMBER PARTICIPATION
All members are welcome to contribute through sharing both their knowledge and personal experiences. We invite you to learn and grow with us; to ask all the questions you like; and we encourage you to make use of our libraries along with the discussion forums.
INAPPROPRIATE POSTING
Our open door policy is *not* an invitation to force religious or political viewpoints nor is it to fulfill personal agendas. Posts along these lines or those showing disrespect toward other members, using profanity (in any form), or role playing will be removed without notice. We expect all members to demonstrate tolerance for the ways of others that may or may not be in keeping with their own. All members are to be treated respectfully regardless of age, gender, culture, or spiritual orientation. Administration retains the right to remove any posts deemed inappropriate.
SPAM
No spam! It will be removed immediately and you will be banned without notice. Spam is defined as placing the same post/link/advertisement on multiple sites OR posts for the sole purpose of leaving a link to attract clients, students and members, and not participating in our site. We've also seen some creative spam in the form of someone claiming to want to know about someone with a link in the post to the site they want to promote. If you want, you can use the blocks in your profile to state your business.
LINKS
If you want to post links to your personal site, please first ask permission with Cinnamon Moon, Skye Katt or Mouse. Alternatively, add the link to your profile. Most members will check out a new member's profile and they are bound to find your personal link.
IMAGES AND SIGNATURE LINKS
If you wish to have a link in your signature, please take the time to contact Cinnamon Moon, SkyeKatt or Mouse for permission first. Links in signatures to other sites must be acceptable to all ages. If you have an image in your signature, keep it a reasonable size: no larger than 200 X 130 72 dpi. These measures are for making Spirit Lodge a place that works for all members, regardless of age, gender, health, background, computer skills and internet connection.
